By train, the pax services are not always secure. On Wednesday the train departure from Uyuni station to Ollagüe in Chile, where you can find lodging, restaurant, telephone company and buses to Calama city. Departures are on Monday 11:00 hours and on Thursday 08:00 hours.

By bus, exist two bus companies, departures twice a week to Calama city. The custom duties you do it at Abaroa in Bolivia. Take in consideration that the service count with a change of buses at Abaroa border. Calama has several times a day buses that go to San Pedro de Atacama.

By jeep, exist two possibilities, to travel directly or to take a tour. The first one is by night and it take 16 hours driving. The second one take 3 days and 2 nights through Uyuni Salt Flat.
