Owner of three restaurants: Adobe, La Estaka and Blanco, more an event enterprise, Catering in Atacama, whose motto is "the food that you want where you want", Mauricio Ciocca is without doubts, the gastronomic enterpriser most important of San Pedro de Atacama.
Mauricio arrived to San Pedro in 1995 and in ten years he builded up a bussiness, that in those days was difficult to imagine it. He started working as a waiter in La Estaka, that had another owner, after he put a little ice cream store called " Bajo Cero", the only one in San Pedro, that was succesfull, till in august 1997 founded Adobe Restaurant. At the beginning had a capacity for 16 persons, in the 2000 he reached a capacity for 120 persons. In the same year, Mauricio bought La Estaka. From there on this gastronomic enterprise does not stop. In the same time he started to work in gastronomic events in hotels and in remote places, activity that later succeed with the born of Catering in Atacama. On febraury 2005, Blanco Restaurant opened to the public, that offer in their menu exclusive dishes that are the result of the continual gastronomic searching.

Blanco is a more modern place with special decoration. In their vanguard recipes, like lamb meat with smashed polenta and vegetables at oporto and sushi.
 
La Estaka is a more intimate place located in an old hispanic architectal house. Their menu is a fusion of local food and international dishes.
 
El Adobe Restaurant is an open place that whose architectal had marked inclination in San Pedro.Their menu offer traditional international food, where distinguish the red meats, pizzas and a great salad variety.
