Haramaksi in cunza language (old atacamenian lenguage) means “family house”, this is a rural touristic project that offer to the visitors lodging in two comfort family cabanas, builded up with material of the area, the place is located at Coyo ayllu, just 8 kms. from San Pedro de Atacama.
The tourists will be personally attended by Rubén Martínez and his family, here you will have the chance to taste atacamenian food flavours and by nights is possible to enjoy the traditional barbecue under the moonlight.

Haramaksi is without no doubt, a place that offer tranquility and new experiences, as part of the visiting, Rubén offer a walking by the paths of his parcel of land, showing the variety of plants, medicine plant and fruit trees, that are common used in the atacamenian zone, the walking ends with the farm animals that can be feed by the visitors.
 
This place is a distinguished part, because you can closer see the mountain range of the salt, near the moon valley, also is possible to visit the archaeological sites of Coyo, Tulor and Beter.

Martínez Family invite you to participate in the traditional carnaval of San Pedro, that is before the Quarter Moon, with dancing, singing, and rituals to give thanks to the Pacha Mama (Mother Earth).

The experience is complete and the visitor get new knowledge and pleasant moments in a place full of life.
